Kind of a funny thing to say but, but Worcester office cleaning can be fun! All Clean shows you 6 easy ways to thoroughly clean a business/office space to provide a very comfortable, healthy and friendly working environment.

1. Prepping the Office Area

You’ll want to gather all of the necessary cleaning equipment chemicals, and supplies for the job. Load up your cleaning cart with your cleaning tools and chemicals and head towards the area to be cleaned.

If any wet mopping or extensive cleaning is going to be done, you’ll want to put up “closed for cleaning” signs and block off the area with the correct caution/wet floor signs if the office cleaning is done while occupied with personal. All of these pointers are known to professionals like our selves—skilled at Worcester office cleaning like few others! Moving on… If the office cleaning is not done daily then these office cleaning procedures can be combined.

2. Daily Office Cleaning Procedures

Walk around and visually check the area for any types of debris or paper on the floors. Pick these items up and dispose of them properly. Vacuum up any dirt or debris that can’t be removed by hand. Using a backpack vacuum is a great way to quickly and efficiently vacuum up around office cubicles, desks and chairs. Vacuum all carpeted floors, starting with the mats and runners, then move on to all open carpeted areas. At All Clean we use the Super CoachVac HEPA back pack vacuum which is a productivity powerhouse designed to tackle the most demanding cleaning challenges. It’s just another “edge” we get being the Worcester office cleaning company with the best reputation in town! This powerful and high filtration vacuum is ideal for vacuuming high square-footage areas that require the utmost cleanliness.

Empty all trash cans and replace the trash bags, a very popular size is the high density 10-15 gallon trash bag for individual offices trash cans. Collect the trash in a 44 gallon rubber made barrel on a dolly then it’s easy to roll around while doing your office cleaning. Be sure to spot clean the walls around the trash can of any spills if necessary.

If there are any spots or stains on the carpets, floors, walls, furniture or baseboards immediately wipe those up. For carpet or upholstery stains, start by identifying the type of stain for easy removal. Then follow up with a portable spotter or stain removing machine to remove the stain if needed. We use a portable carpet machine at All Clean to get big stains up.

Once floors are all clean, wet mop all hard floor surfaces with the proper floor surface cleaner.

Be sure all restrooms will be cleaned with disinfectants used in compliance with EPA laws (registered products). Cleaning should include the entire toilet fixtures, urinals, stall walls, sinks, mirrors, counter tops, faucets, floors and walls. The floors in the restrooms will be swept and wet mopped and trash emptied.

Clean all the entry door glass of hand prints.

3. Clean Up After the Office Cleaning

At the end of the office cleaning day you should immediately clean up all equipment, and clean out mop buckets and other cleaning gear. Rinse out all mops and hang to dry. Place all cleaning supplies and accessories back onto the office cleaning cart, and return everything back to its original storage place in the janitor’s closet. Remove all trash and debris by placing it in a garbage bag and disposing of it properly. Remove all carpet dryers and caution/wet floor signs once the areas are completely dry. Return any moved objects or furniture back to their original positions.

4. Weekly Cleaning Procedures

Dust all surfaces, including desks, filing cabinets, cubicle walls and shelves, ceiling vents and intake vents.

Wipe down desks, telephones, calculators, and computer keyboards thoroughly using a disinfectant spray that has been sprayed on a micro fiber cloth or a disinfecting wipe. At All Clean we use a hospital grade disinfectant when doing our weekly office cleaning tasks.

Dust heating vents, ledges, door jambs and window sills at any easily reachable level.

5. Monthly Cleaning Procedures

Polish desks, tables, chairs, and any other wood objects by using a furniture polish to help maintain a professional shine.

Dust or vacuum all vents, overhead circular fans, and behind hard to reach areas like tables and desks.

Clean all windows with a glass cleaner to remove all marks and fingerprints.

6. Semi-Annual Cleaning Procedures

Strip and re-coat any tiled floors to remove scuff marks and any imperfections in the finish. Extract all carpeting, runners, mats and upholstery for long life.
